The Robert Johnson Blues Foundation is pleased to offer you Annual Membership opportunities. By becoming a member you will have the honor of helping us achieve our mission. The Robert Johnson Blues Foundation is dedicated to preserving the music and memory of Robert Johnson through the provision of art education, competitions and scholarships as well as providing emergency aid.

In keeping with our mission we have provided financial aid to many families that were affected
by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, as well as provide college scholarships to high school students. We were glad to be able to adopt Kippori "Babywolf" Woods, an acclaimed and up-and-coming blues musician from New Orleans. Kippori and his family lost all of their possessions in the hurricane. We assist them as they get back on their feet. He was featured as an honorary performer at our 2006 Blues Festival on Saturday, May 6, 2006.

Our main fund raising event remains The Annual Robert Johnson Music Festival honoring the
birth of Robert Johnson (d.o.b. May 8, 1911). This annual event allows everyone that believes in our mission and in the power of the blues to come together and enjoy a wonderful time of fun and music. With wonderful blues and gospel music performers coming from across the country, our family, friends and fans have the oppurtunity to donate their time, service and finances to help us accomplish our mission.

Donors to the Foundation are recognized at the following levels of giving: Annual Gifts Friends $1 to $99 Fellows $100 to $499 Sponsors $500 to $999 Patrons $1,000 to $1,999 Benefactors $2,000 to $4,999 Director’s Circle $5,000 to $9,999 Circle of Honors $10,000 and above Those who give $10,000 or more whether individuals, couples, businesses, or corporations are recognized on an Honored Contributors plaque in the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation Museum. Endowments This is a wonderful way for named giving as you honor a loved one, your family, or yourself.  Because they are permanent, endowments are the financial cornerstones of any non-profit.  Earnings from investing the endowment provide both security and independence—it is available year after year, regardless of changes in other income sources.  An endowment is a living gift in that the principle monies live in perpetuity.  Only the endowment income may be spent, thus protecting the principal forever. Endowment opportunities are offered at $15,000 and higher.
