Located in the historic district of Crystal Springs, the Museum is a tribute to Robert Johnson. Murals by Tony Davenport cover the walls, Not only are there several almost life-sized paintings of Robert Johnson, but giant faces of Honey Boy Edwards--who played with Robert Johnson in the last gig before he died, and Robert Lockwood Jr.-a protégé of Robert Johnson's, have been masterfully painted on curved walls.
The museum houses a collection of guitars donated by musicians, such as Robert Lockwood Jr.
Allen Collins, and Rory Block. There is also a display of original artwork and prints of artists' interpretations of the Robert Johnson image. A special corner is dedicated to Copiah County.
If anyone has Copiah County area historic artifacts or memorabilia that they would like to donate or loan to the museum, they would be greatly appreciated.
